Should you need a different consortia that is not offered, just ask and we will put a program together for you.

With great prices, because you are sharing space with other Carino members, these programs provide 12 months exposure on the agent networks - their websites, e-newsletters, e-blasts, print newsletters, consortia booking engines.

We handle all artwork, placement, and coordination.

Just joining a consortia is only part one of getting bookings - then there is the need to market yourself to the agents: on screen, with agent communication tools, and, critically, in person.

It is "in person" sales presentations to the travel agents allied with these marketing programs will position your property ahead of your competition.

What about when a member coordinates their Consortia memberships through another organization, such as Leading or Preferred and not through Carino?

This is not an issue at all. There is no conflict, just increased exposure for your own property.

The Co-Op ads and editorial copy are for your property, using your GDS code. This is not competition for Leading or Preferred, just intended to give your property more exposure. We are promoting your property, not the Carino Collection as a group.

Additionally, marketing groups like Preferred and Leading usually only buy presence in the consortia to advertise their brand. So, there is virtually no opportunity for confusing the message by putting a member at cross purposes to different marketing groups.

ABC has 5,000 agency location subscribers with an average of approximately 10 agents per location. Its business is 80% corporate and 20% leisure. The marketing programs that they offer will tap our participating hotels into the power of ABC's global audience.

This program has many parts designed to give consistent exposure for our hotels in a variety of media to ensure top of mind awareness. The program inclusions will carry on for the entire year of 2005 - - this program is a great value/ABC prices its marketing programs to be very affordable for its hotel members.

Premier Room Service E-mail program
Reaches 4,000 agents (this is an opt-in program for the agents). Varied monthly with other media.

Agent Hot Deal promotion:
Internet Hot Deals alerts travel agency sales contacts, travel arrangers and the actual traveler about special rates and packages. The hot deals are listed on the ABC website for a continuous two week period. Varied monthly with other media.

Internet Banner Ads
Allow members to gain visibility in a geographic market. The banners are on the website continuously for a three month period and do not rotate with other banners. This is excellent visibility and all CC participating hotels will have their own banner in the city or geographic location of their choice. Varied monthly with other media. Carlson Wagonlit Travel

Sample Programming

To get this program off the ground, we'll need at last 5 members sign up with an average $8000 commitment.

CWT has given us an opportunity to do real targeted communication to its agents and its consumers.

We see ROI value for the members with this communication. The communication program is ONLY for corporate preferred accounts outbound from Europe and Asia - NOT outbound from US.

But there is a catch: we need, as a co-op group, to invest at least $40,000 US in the program to access and play with the boys who have the huge dollars.

This is how the meesaging works:

If you want business from Accenture's Singapore unit coming into Paris, coming into Dallas, coming into Seattle, CWT tells us what the room nights are from Accenture Singapore to Paris, Seattle, etc. and messaging is developed at the point of city search by Accenture TA implants and Accenture end-user direct bookers.

Your hotel message is delivered at that in-bound city screen for just that Accenture user in Singapore. So your message is totally targeted to the business that you want more of. Not to anything else, anywhere else. CWT has committed to craft and repeat the messaging so that our ROI is (almost) guaranteed. They want to make it work for the CARINO members. We do believe that.

Furthermore we are promised detailed reporting of view stats combined with booking/decline stats . . .which will give us a peep hole into the value that your hotel represents to that company - in this case to Accenture Singapore.

Exquisitely targeted, isn't it?

CWT wants to increase our production but (surprise, surprise) they want money to do it. Messaging for a London in-bound screen is going to cost a whole lot more than messaging on a Rio De Janeiro or Vancouver screen.

CCRA represents 18,00 agencies at 25,000 locations including 10,000 outside agents. Their marketing programs reach both the travel agent and end-use consumer, the traveler. The CC Marketing group has created a package to reach both the agent and consumer in a consistent basis throughout 2005.

Travel agent specials is a special section of the website. Each promotion has a duration of one full month on the website.

This four color newsletter is produced bi-monthly and is sent to all agency locations. CC participating hotels will share a ½ page ad mixed in with the other media through the year.

THOR

Varied, Consistent Coverage using at least one medium each month

Currently Offering One Program with 4 Parts THOR provides its travel program to large agency groups as well as independent travel agents. Approximately 14,000 travel agents use THOR's rates and information worldwide. 70% are located in the US and 30% are international.

THOR offers a number of marketing opportunities to increase visibility of its hotel members. The CC Marketing group has bundled opportunities for a low cost get-in and year long visibility for our hotels.

Web Advertising

THOR's new website has been constructed so as to ease the agents' ability to use and interact with all the features, products and services available to them.

Their new technology, Hotel Navigator, is a new mapping program enabling agents to locate THOR hotels based on destination needs of the client with pop-up maps, including driving directions.

Agents are able to research hotels in ways not available on the GDS.

This package includes a banner ad mixed in with the other media. Artwork & animation included.

Banner ads appear on the front page and on other pages throughout the site. CC participating hotels will have their own banner rotation and visibility within the Carino rotation.

Hotel Notes

This is a weekly broadcast email that currently goes to 3,000 agents by email and another 2,000 by fax.

InnSights

This is THOR's monthly newsletter sent to 4,000 agents worldwide, offering news, travel tips and special offers. Each month an advertiser is selected to be featured in a special article.
