Why a special Carino website for meetings? Third party websites abound on the web and are normally out of your control. They sell your property, list your property and often come up under searches even before your property does because they are so well seach engine optimized. So we build our own third party website for most of the Carino programs, and include the hotels that are participating in those particular programs, then seach engine optimize these sites to come up high on organic searches. For example, the meetings third party site would be optimized for seaches such as "luxury meeting hotel", "luxury meeting resort", "executive retreat luxury resort", and so on. Again, we would also optimize for seaches that include the specific location of partipating members, sush as "luxury meeting hotel Chicago". These are some words that the consumer might type into a seach engine and then our site would come up high in the rankings.

A. M&C Magazine Advertising
Monthly four color magazine. The package includes three 1/2 page full color advertisements. Suggested monthly insertions will depend on the interest of participating hotels and the editorial calendar.
B. M&C Online Display Banner Ads
M&C Online is the premier electronic resource for meetings industry news, current features, calendar of events and vital industry association and supplier links. The site also provides dedicated research reports, destination features and access to a facility search engine.
This package includes four months of horizontal banner advertising. Banner ads rotate throughout the entire site.
· Horizontal ads are less frequently bought, therefore they come up much more often throughout the site than vertical or text ads.
· Carino Collection participating hotels would share a Carino Collection banner which would then be clicked on and each of the participating hotels would be shown, with a link to their own websites.
· These horizontal banner ads are an excellent value for the visibility received. (There are an average of 20-50 ads at any given time, but at last check there were only 2 horizontal ads running.)
For example: iin November 2004 there were 147,348 banner views with a 1.51% click through rate.
C. E-Newsletter - M&C Midweek News
This weekly email newsletter with a distribution of 42,000 provides current industry news and information from M&C Magazine directly to subscribers. M&C Midweek News is designed to highlight breaking news of critical concern to the industry.
This package includes four vertical display ads per year. The ads will include the individual names of all participating hotels.
