Most of our CC members certainly know about TravelCLICK and probably currently utilize some of their products. The CC Marketing group has negotiated a volume discount with TravelCLICK for all their media advertising options as well as their data products.
The CC has tremendous purchase power and the more CC hotels that purchase products and media buys from TravelCLICK, the greater the discount for all. We will list all the TravelCLICK products, with discounts negotiated for the CC hotels. All products and media buys should be purchased through the CC Marketing group in order for us to calculate and keep track of usage in order to pass through continued discounts to our members.
GDS Marketing Messages (Travel agent trade marketing)
· These messages are delivered to the travel agent at the point of sale/purchase while the agent is trying to book the specific destination where the property is located. It is recommended that GDS marketing campaigns start about 3 months prior to opening and run consistently throughout the year. It is also a good tool to use to increase visibility with special promotions to drive business during off peak periods.
In Sabre, this service is branded as "Spotlight". The facts from Sabre that we have been shown indicate that consistent presence in their "Spotlight" section can generate a distinct increase in revenue. After the intial set-up fee that is paid to TravelClick, then you only pay for added revenue generated by the agent clicking on your "Spotlight" listing and not for revenue generated through your regular listing.
Hotwire
· Hotwire drives click-throughs directly to your hotel’s website from Hotwire, and fulfills reservations on your own booking engine. Hotwire advertising gives you valuable access to over 7.2 million monthly visitors, on a rapidly growing travel site.
Orbitz
· Orbitz targets travelers on the fastest growing on-line travel site. Orbitz has over 18 million registered users who visit regularly for destination-specific promotions, web-only fares, and other electronic specials.
USAToday.com
· USAToday.com drives users directly to the hotel website to book travel. Listing features offer a priority sort listing, thumbnail photo with listing, property phone number, property website URL, and a direct link to the property booking page.
MEDIA DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE TO CC HOTELS
Media discounts are as follows, based on gross spends at each hotel per campaign. The following apply:
· If a hotel is currently advertising on any of the media listed above, once they complete the current campaigns, all future campaigns will receive the CC discount based on their own individual hotel advertising spend.
· These discounts would be in addition to any special promotions that TravelCLICK may be running simultaneously.
Hotelligence pricing based on hotel’s GDS revenue
· Electronic benchmarking report, delivered monthly, measures electronic revenue consumed by the competitive set and among many other features includes a list of travel agencies booking the competitive set.
Internet Hotelligence pricing based on hotel’s annual Internet revenue
· This is a monthly report that for the first time allows hotels to measure and benchmark performance versus the competitive set across the Internet channels.
RateVIEW pricing based on hotel size and features of report chosen
· An on demand rate shopping tool. RateVIEW allows the revenue management team to shop electronic rate platforms, within a defined competitive set, for up to 365 days.
Channel Manager same price point for all hotels
· This is platform from where hoteliers can manage all of their rates and inventory across merchant and retail sites…all from one place.
Sabre Spotlight
rate based on a set-up fee to TravelClick and then about 2.5 % of added revenue gennerated only by the Spotlight entry. Note - details and % charges change regularly and also according to your marketplace.
· This provides priority placement positioning at or near the top of Sabre’s hotel display. It ensures your property superior visibility on Sabre, the undisputed GDS market share leader.
Data product discounts are based on the number of products purchased by each, individual CC hotel.
The CC discount is 15% at the time of renewing a product or adding a product.
Regrettably, the discounts are not cumulative on top of what you are already getting.
It is highly likely that you are already getting at least a 15% discount n your products, therefore it is unlikely that this will prove to be a useful discount.
