We deliver up-to-date contact details along with statistics on travel history, decision makers and hot buttons.

Sales call reports and traces are integrated in real time thus creating our industry's finest and most comprehensive interactive, on line data mining strategy tool. The data is then available to hotel members for analysis so that they may better develop their business strategy.

Members can use SalesConnect 2.0 as their very own customer database management tool - web accessed and fully serviced by our two programmers who really care how the system works for each member.

Coming next: SalesConnect 3.0 will include a space management tool that enables better management of event and meeting room availability and bookings by the sales managers at the hotel.

Technical Details

Our web based system is accessible from anywhere from any system at any time. All you need is an Internet connection and because of our uncomplicated design, our system works just fine on a dial-up connection.

We keep it updated and we keep it running for everyone not just the select few as in some other available sales tools.

We have based our interactive system on an Open Source programming language renowned for its security and speed.

We use an Open Source database that, once again, is renowned for its speed and power - way more power than we'll ever need. So, SalesConnect2.0 will never be hampered by proprietary code. More importantly, nor will our members.

We will be upgrading the system all the time to take advantage of new technology, but members will NEVER have to deal with or pay for an upgrade. They will never have to go through the misery of upgrades on the property level.

We do it all on the server. Members are never bothered and your system will never have to be "down" to take advantage of our improvements.

Who:

The system is designed and programmed by our own team. Our work is not sub-contracted. Andy Segal and Vikarna Chaudhri are our programmers and designers. They can be found huddled together over arcane programming issues in Starbucks from Boston to Washington.

Here, we explore a selection of screenshots and explain what is going on.

We are on the web and logged on with our own identifier which, if we are using SalesConnect 2 as our own customer database entry and trace tool, we alone have access to our own database.

Also, at the same time, we do have access to all the Carino sales reports, contacts and leads and any that have been put into the general system by the other members - 70 as of October, 2005.

And here is a basic search page to find a corporate contact, a corporate travel agent at an in-house agency, a general travel agent, a meeting planner within the organization.

Here, below, we have searched for companies putting room nights into, say Marseilles, France, and one of the options that comes up is Accenture.

We select Accenture as one of the options to look at.

So, let's say that we have heard about events, meetings or corporate room nights for Accenture that may be coming to your market area.

Here is the basic set of company details - into which we can then drill down to find the contact responsible for deciding what hotels should be asked to bid for the Marseilles room nights.

Then we decide to delve into the other parts of the company to see what other business may be lurking there.

The two hug and chat for 2 minutes: result hundreds of room nights for the news teams in New Orleans at our member property: The Windsor Court. All done at our member property The Rhiga.
